This is a one-off, paid, short term strategy.  Short term because the effect only lasts 12 hours (perhaps 24 hours at the most).

You can pay a one-off fee for a tweet to be sent out across someone’s twitter following.  (And if they agree, you can craft the tweet and effectively write it for them.)

How lucrative this strategy is will depend on the size and responsiveness of their Twitter following.  

If you target the right authority figure you can definitely make your money back and more.

Facebook

Setting up a Facebook Fan Page is a free, long term strategy that can give you another stream of traffic.

Your Facebook Fan Page can be found through resource links, SEO or people coming across your personal Facebook profile.

It’s unlikely you’ll receive a huge flood of traffic but every traffic stream adds up.

You could buy leads from Facebook (by paying for advertizing) and drive them back to your Fan Page.

Although its unlikely people will see comments past the immediate 24-48 hour window—they are still logged there and can be found and read.

You can also buy Facebook comments.  A comment placed within an authority figure’s personal profile in your niche can result in many sales. Especially if they have a devoted and adoring following.

Another strategy using Facebook…

If you interact and participate with Facebook pages specific to your niche, you can then drive traffic back to your own Facebook Fan Page or affiliate review site via your signature signoff.

There is enormous leverage inside social media platforms.  

The key is to interlink and connect your social media efforts together and link them back to your main review or niche authority site.

This will give you more backlink juice for your SEO so you gain more power for your review site.
