How to Maximize Email Response
It is worth putting a little thought and time into the emails you send to your list.
Below are two easy ways that will give you maximum conversions…
Familiarity
Whether someone knows you or not is a big contributor to whether those on your list open your emails or not.
Earlier (rather than later) we recommend you put multimedia into your autoresponder. Others being able to see you on video (or at the very least hear you on audio) will allow them to get a feel of who you are.
The next time your list receives emails from you they will have a picture of who you personally are. That you are a real person and not just a random stranger or company is very important.
Consistent Subject Lines
Spammy subject lines may appear to increase your conversions the first couple of times you use them.
But in the long term it will lead to low open rates.
Examples of hyped up and shocking subject lines include “Hey”, “Open now, this will change your life”, “$5000 in 2 days… find out how”.
(The reason some Affiliate Marketers keep using these spammy subject lines is because it appears to work in a split test on a short term basis.)
We recommend you take a different approach… And while it may sound simplistic –please don’t overlook this!
Be consistent with your subject lines. You do this by delivering on what you say you will deliver.
So if your subject line is “5 Cost-Effective Ways to Stop your Dog from Digging” then deliver an article or video on exactly this.
Keep delivering on your promise. And you will train your list that the emails you send are filled with quality content that truly helps them.
It doesn’t matter if not everybody opens your email, because they may not be interested in it. Perhaps they have a dog that doesn’t dig up their lawn.
But perhaps they do have a dog that won’t stop barking. And when they see this email—they will certainly open it!
They will definitely stay subscribed to your list because you may have helpful, useful content for them in the future.
