Blogs

There are different ways of using blogs depending on your intention.  They can be used as a long term, short term, free or paid method of promoting your affiliate products.

If you own and blog on your own site you are effectively a blogger.  This is a free, long term strategy that requires effort—but can result in many affiliate sales.

Regular posting, people linking to your blog and establishing yourself as an authority within your niche will help ensure natural SEO.

You can also participate and comment on other people’s blogs.

Initially giving valuable, high quality content will get you noticed.  Having your (cloaked) affiliate link in your signature file without directly mentioning it is the way to begin.

After you have done your groundwork and taken the time to build a relationship with the other users and blog owner, then you can speak out and recommend the product you are an affiliate for.

Becoming a guest blogger is another strategy you can use…

Research someone else’s blog that has an active and passionate following and provide great quality content for that blog.

Although it may take time to become accepted as a guest blogger on other sites, you can generate leads back to your own site.

Turning now to paid blogging strategies… you can pay to have your post feature on a prominent person’s blog in your target niche.

Or you can target people inside your niche by buying advertising on a certain authority blog.  This will generate leads back to your own blog, review or authority site.
